I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my newest book, “The Trifecta Passport: Tools for MCAS, POTS and EDS.”
This pandemic project has been really fun and I hope that it will be a useful guide for a customized holistic healing plan.
The book went live on Amazon on January 21, 2021. Check it out here.
Book Overview
Whether you’ve heard of the three conditions described here, or you find yourself or a loved one facing chronic illness, this book is jam-packed with resources to find healing. Mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), dysautonomia in the form of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and the hypermobile type of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS) tend to go hand in hand. What is missing from the mainstream approach to these and other chronic illnesses is 1) investigation of the root issues contributing to these conditions, and 2) a customized road map for holistic healing. This book outlines key pillars to address in order to achieve reversal of symptoms and a deep level of integrative mind-body restoration.
Topics include:
- An overview of each of the three conditions that make up the “trifecta” of MCAS, POTS and EDS
- Internal health stressors, including bacterial/viral/fungal infections, hormonal dysfunction and other gastrointestinal issues
- External health stressors, such as mycotoxins, chemicals and heavy metals
- Nervous system retraining strategies
- Nutritional approaches
- Structural and musculoskeletal issues
- Movement in the form of physical activity and exercise
- Detoxification from physical stressors
- Mental health resources
- Patient case scenarios
In addition, this book comes with a 20-page passport-themed workbook that can help patients put together their own unique healing plan.
