You are not alone…
Life with MCAS is both physically and mentally challenging. While facebook groups can be helpful, the mission of this website is to facilitate connecting peers on a more personal/tangible level!
The main aim of this website is to connect patients (who have MCAS or think they may have it) to fellow patients as a form of social support in a positive, empowering and individualized nature. Mast Cells United would like to accomplish this in three ways:
1) Social Support Groups in your area. As our database of MCAS patients grows, we will connect patients together by geographical location so that they can meet regularly in person for support groups.
2) 1-on-1 Buddy Program. We aim to pair together patients with MCAS (or those who suspect they have it) to support each other via email and on the phone.
3) Advocacy, awareness & educational events and opportunities. You won’t be spammed, but a few times a year we will share events in your area and opportunities to get involved in being an advocate. This is really important for moving awareness of MCAS forward in mainstream medicine!
